DRINKS INCLUSIVE in TORQUAY

Staying at the VICTORIA HOTEL, which belongs to TLH Leisure Resort in the heart of Torquay.  WE HAVE BEEN USING THIS HOTEL FOR 37 YEARS.  Half Board which is help yourself, plus afternoon tea and biscuits in the Derwent Hotel.   Bedrooms are Double,Twin or Single Rooms (no extra charge for Single Rooms), A LIFT TO ALL 3 FLOORS.  All bedrooms have coloured T.V, telephone, radio, teasmaker with plenty of FREE tea, coffee and milk.  Facilities in all 4 hotels can be used and comprise of The Aztec Bistro which overlooks the inside swimming pools, the Bistro offers light snacks, lunches, cream teas and drinks all day plus a bar.  In our hotel you have The Windsor Bar, where pre-dinner drinks may be taken. Entertainment every evening is in the Starlight Lounge in the Derwent Hotel and comprises of a quiz then Bingo followed by entertainment and dancing, plus on certain nights cabaret for 1 hour by a guest entertainer.  The complex also has a pub THE ALBERTS BAR which is open all day and serves pub meals.  We are booked on a DRINKS INCLUSIVE DEAL which offers FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Victoria Hotel from 5.30 p.m. Evening Dinner is from 6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and you can go at any time.  FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Victoria or in the Starlight Lounge and the Med Bar in the Derwent Hotel, UNTIL 11.00 P.M.

MONDAY  -  We travel by executive coach with toilet and washroom, drinks facilities, making a comfort stop at a Services, then a further stop which will give you time for lunch.  

 

We should arrive at the Victoria Hotel mid afternoon and on arrival whilst we are filling in our room key details, the porter will take our luggage to our rooms. FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Victoria Hotel before your evening meal, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS  from the Bar in the Victoria and from the 2 bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment. FREE DRINKS finish at 11.00 p.m.

 

TUESDAY - Breakfast in the hotels restaurant.   Today is a FREE DAY to enjoy yourself.    Bus passes can be used on any of the buses.   Afternoon tea and biscuits can be taken in the Derwent hotel. FREE PRE-DINNER DRINKS from the bar in the Victoria Hotel, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Victoria and the 2 bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment until 11.00 p.m.

 

WEDNESDAY - Breakfast in the Hotels restaurant and we meet the coach after breakfast for our day excursion to the lovely Victorian seaside town of SIDMOUTH. Sidmouth has a flat promenade and a quaint town with winding streets and lovely shops, cafes and bars.   We meet you later in the day and return you to the Hotel. FREE PRE-DINNER DRINKS from the bar in the Victoria Hotel, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Victoria and the 2 bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment until 11.00 p.m.

 

THURSDAY - Breakfast in the hotels restaurant. Today is a FREE DAY to enjoy yourself. Use your bus pass and visit Brixham or Babbacombe or just relax round the Hotel. Afternoon tea and biscuits in the Derwent hotel. FREE PRE-DINNER DRINKS from the bar in the Victoria Hotel, then after your meal, FREE DRINKS from the Bar in the Victoria and the 2 bars in the Derwent Hotel, where Bingo will be played, followed by a full evening of entertainment until 11.00 p.m. PACKED LUNCHES MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE HOTEL FOR YOUR JOURNEY HOME, PLEASE ASK AT RECEPTION.

 

FRIDAY  -  Breakfast in the hotels restaurant and we depart from the hotel to commence our journey home.   A stop will be made at a service where lunch may be taken, and a further stop will be made near home, so the driver will give arrival home times and passengers who wish to be met can telephone home.

PRICE FOR THIS DRINKS INCLUSIVE 5 DAY TOUR IS:  £375.00 per person sharing Twin or Double Rooms.  Single Rooms have no Extra Charge and we have 6 available, staying at the Victoria Hotel, Half Board, and inclusive drinks as detailed above. Included in the price is 1 day excursion and return coach fare.

 

All coach seats are booked to plan.     

DEPOSITS are £50.00 per person, with full payment 6 weeks prior to departure.​
